/questions

The stuff every dev asks before trying a new tool.

Why not just use ChatGPT? +

You can. But every tuput tool is a hand-crafted prompt tuned for its specific task, streamed at the edge with sub-2s latency. No context-setting, no system-prompt juggling, no tab switching. Paste → ship.

Is this just a thin LLM wrapper? +

The frontends are deliberately thin — that's the product. The value is in the prompts, the streaming UX, and the zero-friction flow. We also plan to add deep integrations (CLI, GitHub App, IDE extensions) that are not thin wrappers.

Do you train on my inputs? +

No. We don't have a training pipeline. Inputs are forwarded to the LLM provider (OpenRouter), streamed back to you, and immediately discarded. See /privacy for specifics.

What happens when I hit the free limit? +

You'll get a clear rate-limit banner showing when your quota resets (midnight UTC). Each tool has its own daily counter — hitting the limit on Error Explainer doesn't affect Docker Audit.

Can I use the output commercially? +

Yes. You own whatever you paste in and whatever we give back. Just review everything — LLMs hallucinate, and you're responsible for shipping correct code.
